Our Team
Gaynor Scoble - OT
Hi, I’m Gaynor, the founder and Occupational Therapist behind Flourish and Thrive Therapy.
I’m passionate about helping people live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. My approach is all about blending clinical knowledge with genuine care — meeting people where they’re at and supporting them to achieve their goals in ways that feel practical, personal, and empowering.
I created Flourish and Thrive with a simple goal — to help people live meaningful, independent, and balanced lives, no matter where they are in Australia.
After working across both corporate and clinical settings, I realised I wanted to build something that allowed me to truly connect with people, work flexibly, and deliver therapy that reflects my values — authenticity, compassion, and practicality.
Travelling around Australia provided me with an opportunity to deliver my OT services using Telehealth and mobile therapy to bridge the gap and make high-quality support more accessible.
I love that my work gives me the freedom to balance my own wellbeing while helping others find theirs. The flexibility of working for myself means I can show up as my best self — rested, present, and fully engaged with every client I support.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, spending time outdoors or with those very close to me or focusing on activities that keep me grounded and inspired — the same kind of balance I encourage my clients to discover in their own lives.
At Flourish and Thrive Therapy, my mission is simple: to empower people to do more of what matters to them and to thrive in their everyday life.
Chase
Chase is my Australian Shepherd x Border Collie. He has high career aspirations of becoming Flourish and Thrive’s very own Therapy Dog.
Chase is only a puppy at this stage, however keep your eyes peeled for Animal Assisted Therapy in the near future. His training can start at 12 months of age but we look forward to providing this anticipated service to our clients in the future.
For now, he is learning the ropes on how to be a good boy.
